Analyst Neritan Sejamini said that the anti-corruption resolution and commission proposed by Rama is actually the start of a series of reforms that he will propose for the integration of Albania in the EU in 2030, a propaganda operation that will serve Rama for to reinvent themselves in the parliamentary elections.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Sejamini said that Rama is "ten steps away from the others" and has a serious project to win the elections, including hiring professionals from the West, while the opposition does not use its brain and has no strategy .
"To judge the resolution we must judge the motivations and interests of Mr. Rama. The resolution is being forwarded in a chaotic manner. The resolution is a tool, it is nothing. Rama will make a special parliamentary commission and this special commission will review many institutions independent, find problems and will come with a new reform, which will reform the Albanian state to make it ready to join the EU in 2030. This is how the justice reform began.
He found these terms, excellent generalizations, everyone wants justice and the fight against corruption, because you can't go against this, even the opposition abstained today. It has found a new war, a propaganda tool, which no one opposes. It will take experts, even foreign ones, and in the end those changes that Rama has in mind will be proposed.
So, Mr. Rama will do some things. I want the mandate of the SPAK chairman to be extended to two, so the one who comes after Dumani should stay for six years and not three. Second, he will divide the term so that if it is a matter of abuse of power without financial damages, it will be investigated by the district prosecutor's office. So only when it causes damage from the state, should it be investigated by SPAK. So the investigations that started today only abuse of duty, 90% of the cases against the officials, will be investigated by the prosecutor's office of Tirana.
There is a propaganda element to the campaign. Rama has thought about it and it is efficient. He says, corruption is an inherited cancer. We want to fight corruption, make laws and reforms. We started the fight ten years ago with the justice reform and today SPAK, since 1912, we have an institution that is bringing corrupt statesmen to justice and this is our achievement. Now he says, since we did the justice, we must do the integration in the EU and we will do the same with statehood. I will raise the Albanian flag in the courtyard of the EU. This is logical and will be his campaign.
Edi Rama is reinventing himself with this idea, that is, EU integration, tourism, is finding a positive, energetic message and is also taking the flag of the fight against corruption. We can say that this is propaganda, but it is happening and many people will believe it and be inspired. It is taking professionals from the world, instead of coming to the opposition. It has a serious project and is ten steps ahead of others.
What the opposition did today is wrong behavior. It is total banality, the opposition must be smart. After so many years of such governance, that the flag of corruption should not be held by the opposition but by the government, is catastrophic.
The opposition must use its brain, because it thinks it still has muscles. The opposition must understand the actors, its opponent, foreigners, other actors, the forces operating and have a strategy. The opposition will eat it the same as with the justice reform
