The file in charge of Socialist MP Bujar Çela for the explosion with consequences in the warehouse owned by him in Lushnje, will be investigated by SPAK.
The Prosecutor's Office of Fier has filed 3 charges against the lawmaker, but due to his qualities as a special subject, he has declared incompetence.
Lawyer Marsid Gupi said in an interview for Euronews Albania that MP Bujar Çela, based on the charges against him, risks a minimum of 2 years in prison.
According to him, in the tragic event of Lushnja, the law enforcement bodies are also responsible for not discovering the illegality in which the business was operating, but the main responsibility falls on MP Çela.
"There are injured people, we have property destruction, not only Cela is responsible, there are also the law enforcement bodies, IKMT, the territory inspectorate, the police, the labor inspectorate, were these workers insured, what did they apply, how is the construction permit extended deadline. Why should the situation go to 2 lost lives to highlight this illegal fact. I think that the main illegal fact is the actions of the deputy, he is the main responsible, he risks imprisonment, only for one of the charges he risks 2 years in prison", said the lawyer.
