Religious associations and civil society are protesting in front of the Muslim Community, after Prime Minister Rama's proposal for the creation of a sovereign state of the "Bektashi Order".
A group of Islamic associations such as Mejlis, TUMED, Call to Mercy, the Albanian Union of Theologists and Free Palestine are protesting against the creation of the "Bektashi State" in Tirana.
The protesters are holding placards that read in Albanian and English "Not in my name" while shouting: "Stop the deal with genocide".
In the protest, the focus will be on the latest proposal for the establishment of an Islamic Bektashi state inside Albania, as well as the meeting of the vice president of the Muslim Community with the president of Israel, Isack Herzog, during the visit to our country on September 12 will be condemned.
"Genocide is being committed in Palestine. The vice-president of the Muslim Community and the Prime Minister of Albania are expecting and supporting the president of the genocidal state", it was written in the preliminary announcement.
The participation in the protest is small, while the presence of the police is noticeable.
Among other things, the Muslim communities today protested against the heads of the Muslim Community of Albania, who according to them represent the interests of the Turkish businessman in the US, Fetullah Gulen, who is wanted by Turkey and is known as an enemy of Erdogan.
In his speech, one of the representatives of today's protest showed the reasons against the establishment of the Bektashi state.
"Baba Mondi, this person does not represent the Albanian Bektashi Muslims. He has become a lever and a tool in the hands of Israel. He participates in meetings with representatives of Israel and thanks them for their kindness. He has turned the Bektashi Teqe into a lounge for officers and soldiers Together with Prime Minister Rama, he got involved in a dangerous project of betrayal for the Albanian nation. A project that is not known from where it comes from. The state violates the constitution and violates religious harmony," says Florian Arapi.
