The Transmission System Operator has reacted after the news that a pole is at risk of collapsing due to a landslide on the Librazhd-Elbasan axis.

According to the OST, the pole has no deformation, but due to the surrounding terrain that has moved, its relocation is being considered as a possibility.

"On pole no. 15 of the 110 kV Librazhd - Përrenjas line, which is a survey pole, a landslide has been observed around it. Up to this point, the pole has not suffered any deformation or movement.

"The situation is being continuously monitored and OST specialists are considering the possibility of determining a new site for its installation," the OST said.
