The former adviser of the royal family, Murat Basha, says that the relationship between Prince Leka and Elia Zaharia has not been working for almost two years.
He says that Prince Leka has left the Royal Palace since the conflicts started.
"I know it's an internal problem, they didn't agree, they didn't go. It has not worked for two years. He has not lived in the palace for a long time, less than two years. He left before the divorce was discussed," Basha said on Report TV.
The couple is in the process of divorce and Prince Leka currently does not live in the Royal Palace, but only Elia Zaharia and daughter. After finalizing the divorce process, Prince Leka will return to the Royal Palace.
The ex-wife of Prince Leka, Elia Zaharia, has reacted to the video that went around the network, apologizing for the moments of the unexpected fight in the Prince's house.
Elia said that this is a difficult situation for her and her family while adding that Leka has tried to rape her father.
'It is a difficult situation for me and my family as it is not easy to come home and find Leka trying to rape my 73-year-old father.
The conflict has absolutely nothing to do with me, except that I tried to stop it' - said Zaharia.
