The chairman of the Special Appeal Board, Sokol Çomo, was elected by unanimous vote, who will exercise this function for a 3-year term.
The session for the election of the President of the Special Appeal Board took place today at the KPA, as Çomo begins his duties on July 27.
He was unanimously elected after a secret ballot that took place in the presence of international observers of the International Monitoring Operation.
This result was approved by the decision of the Meeting of Judges no. 60, dated 30.06.2023.
Mr. Sokol Çomo will start exercising the duties of the President of the Special Appeal Board on 27.07.2023, when the mandate of the acting president, Mrs. Albana Shtylla.
