The Tirana-Durres highway will be partially closed to traffic on Monday, October 13, due to the start of works within the framework of the project "Emergency for the repair of asphalt substrates and layers on the Vorë-Ura e Dajlanit road segment".
In the announcement made public by the Albanian Road Authority and the Ministry of Infrastructure a few days ago, it was announced that the blockage will occur in the Vorë–Durres direction, in these segments:
-Vorë–Maminas
-Maminas–Sukth
-Sukth–Fllakë
-Fllakë–Shkozet Overpass
-Shkozet Overpass–Dajlan Bridge
The works will last 1 to 2 days for each segment, and during this time, drivers are advised to use the alternative route Vorë–Maminas–Katër trësë e Shijakut–Durrës.
After the completion of the interventions on the Vorë–Durres side, works will continue on the other side, Dajlan Bridge–Vorë, with the same division of segments and duration.
The Albanian Road Traffic Authority calls on citizens and drivers for understanding, emphasizing that the intervention aims to improve the safety and quality of traffic on one of the busiest roads in the country.
