
A criminal drug trafficking network from Albania, Spain and the Netherlands to Finland, with 4 heads of criminal groups who commanded them from Albania, has been hit by SPAK in cooperation with Finnish authorities.
In the operation that took place in the early hours of the morning, 9 people were arrested, while 2 others were declared wanted. Meanwhile, among the 55 people convicted in Finland, part of this group, 10 of them are Albanians.
Journalist Eni Ferhati revealed on the Now show on Euronews Albania the names of Albanians arrested as part of this mega-operation.
"In this operation, 9 security measures were executed for the Albanian citizens involved. What constitutes news in this operation is that Albanian criminal groups have seen Nordic countries, such as Finland, as a market. We are talking about citizens Dorian Luzaj, Geraldo Seferaj, Elton Myftari, Elton Tavani, Erind Teneqexhiu (Agalliu), we have an arrested woman Kela Qevani, Ledion Hoxha, Bensik Sparta and Artan Musta," said Ferhati
He indicated that women in the criminal group were used to distribute narcotics in the Finnish state.
"According to information that has been made public in the Finnish state, the members of these criminal groups, who are 4, women had the role of distributing narcotics in Finland. The investigator who has been investigating this activity for 2 years has stated that there is a concern about the use of synthetic drugs, this was the alarm. These people who were caught in Albania lived a very normal life here. Some have been prosecuted in Finland for trafficking and have not returned there but have developed the activity from Albania", said Eni Ferhati.
