The Special Prosecution Office seems to be preparing for a strong session of blows. Today, the annual work report for 2025 was published and many details of the activity of the prosecution body have been given. SPAK seems to be taking the form of those investigative bodies that we have often seen in American police films.
According to the document, special rooms for interrogation and identification procedures have been built in the institution's new building, equipped with cameras and an audio recording system to monitor and document the entire investigative process.
" In accordance with this recommendation, SPAK in the new building has taken all necessary measures by providing an infrastructure dedicated to the interrogation of persons and witnesses. Separate interrogation rooms and rooms for identification procedures have been provided. Each interrogation room is equipped with integrated points on the floor for electricity supply and internet connection, as well as an installed camera and audio recording system, to guarantee full monitoring and documentation of the procedure according to the best international standards ," the report states.
The report also highlights developments in the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), which during 2025 has entered a new phase of organization and management following the election of the institution's new head.
One of the main changes is the adoption of a new organizational structure, where 40 new investigator positions are foreseen, with the aim of increasing investigative capacities in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
According to the report, the reorganization of the BKH also aims to create specialized units for criminal analysis and investigative operations, which will help identify crime trends and conduct complex investigations.
The criminal analysis unit is expected to collect and process information on crime risks and trends, while another operational structure will focus on the use of special investigative methods, such as surveillance, penetration and interception.
According to SPAK, these new structures aim to increase the operational independence of the BKH and reduce dependence on other law enforcement institutions, such as the State Police, in the development of investigative operations.
Another development is that SPAK has purchased special interception equipment. The device with many functions such as interception, localization and at the same time collecting a lot of telephone data is the "IMSI Catcher" and has currently entered the SPAK offices, against a contract worth nearly 1 million euros that was signed with a foreign company. BKH simply needs to approach an institution through this device and intercept every cell phone there. So it seems that SPAK is preparing for a strong season of strikes. / Pamphlet
