On Monday, July 29, the parliament will meet in an extraordinary session at 18:00. This session came as a result of the changes that Prime Minister Rama made today at the SP Congress.
Therefore, in Monday's session, it is expected that the new Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, will be voted in, as well as the decrees of President Begaj for the changes in the Government.
Who are the changes made by Rama:
Elisa Spiropali - left the position of Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament - Appointed Speaker of the Assembly after the resignation of Lindita Nikolla
Taulant Balla - Resigned from the position of Minister of the Interior - Appointed Minister of Relations with Parliament - Position held until today by Elisa Spiropali
Ervin Hoxha - Appointed Minister of the Interior - Position held until today by Taulant Balla - He currently held the position of the head of the IKMT
Petrit Malaj - Appointed Minister of Finance - Position held until today Ervin Mete - Currently held the position of head of AKBN
Pirro Vëngu - Appointed Minister of Defense - Position held until today by Niko Peleshi - He currently held the position of Director of the Port Authority of Durrës
Bledi Çuçi - Left the position of the chairman of the SP group - Appointed Deputy Speaker of the Parliament - Position held until today by Ermonela Felaj.
