Details of the serious event in front of SPAK, where an elderly man tried to end his life by drinking photoxine, are coming to light.

It is learned that he is Pal Trashaj from Lezha. He claimed that he had reported some senior officials, former ministers and MPs about the problems with his properties and SPAK had not given him a solution.

The 60-year-old requested a meeting with the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, but was refused. Then he drank poison and fortunately was taken to the hospital in time.

"On 02.07.2024, on "Panorama" street, in front of the building of the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime, citizen PT, 63 years old, is suspected to have consumed phostoxin and is currently in the hospital under the care of doctors. The investigative group is is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
