Margarita Taraj, a fourth-grade teacher at the "Ramazan Jarani" school in the capital, accuses the director of this school of sexual harassment and revenge after her rejection.

According to her, the harassment by the director started four years ago, when he made inappropriate comments about her appearance and clothing, telling her that she was "beautiful" and threatening her with consequences at work.

"I will either lower my nose at you or you will run away", she says, citing the director's constant words in meetings with him.

"There have been times when I was alone in the computer room, the principal would come and tell me how good you are, let's hold your hand," says the teacher.

Taraj explains that her rejection of the principal's claims has led to an ongoing period of retaliation, including the principal's negative influence on the students' parents.

She says that, through this influence, a parent physically hit the teacher in the classroom, after an incident where she asked his son not to be late. This incident was reported to the police by the teacher.

The teacher says that a child with different abilities came to her class, who for 3 years had been evaluated with high grades, while the child did not know how to write and after the evidence, the parent became aggressive with the teacher.

Fiks journalists asked for an answer from the school director, Ilirjan Kalemasi, who denied having harassed the teacher, even according to him the teacher has problems.

After being questioned about her hitting by a parent, the principal shifted the blame to the teacher, saying that her misbehavior forced the parent to react that way. At first the director says the teacher hit the parent, then he says he doesn't know what happened.

He also mentioned that for the issue of students with different abilities, an assistant teacher has been appointed, stressing that this is a recognized and approved process.

According to the director, a procedure is being carried out to remove the teacher from her job even though the latter has brought the report of the ability to work.

"She brought a skills report to work, but let's not get into that, she brought it at the beginning of the year", says the director. Meanwhile, he questions the teacher's ability even though the doctor has said that she is capable, thus demanding the teacher's removal from the school./TCH
