Union of Journalists: The ban of Qynos is unprecedented, we are following the case very closely

The head of the journalists' union, Aleksandër Çipa, spoke about the 10-hour detention of Ora News journalist Elton Qyno in SPAK where he was asked to show him the source of the information.

Chipa said that the event is being followed very closely and that the reaction will be as it deserves to be.

"We are always in the most natural way in the journalist's right.

If we are dealing with a case that is called unprecedented for the report of the journalist's right not to reveal the source and the insistence of justice to have that source, then of course this will take on another dimension and in this matter will be involved not only the elements of advocacy but also to dimension it as a story that is new and has its own unknowns.

We are following the case very closely. We are waiting for an official announcement as soon as possible. Our reaction will be as it deserves to be" , said Chipa in "Ora News".
