The Assembly met today in plenary session, where two interpellations were in focus. The Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, and the Minister of Health, Evis Salla, were called to account for safety in schools and problems in health centers. The debates took place in an atmosphere of tension, following the protests of the Democratic Party in Durrës and Velipojë, where MP Agron Shehaj joined the citizens in pledging support for the protection of property.

In right-wing politics, former MP Ervin Salianji sent a clear message to Sali Berisha: if the DP fails to unseat Rama, he will present a new platform for the party's leadership.

The Constitutional Court is expected to decide today on the request of the Union of Judges regarding changes to the salary scheme, after a meeting lasting several hours.

In the field of defense, the trilateral meeting between the chiefs of the armies of Albania, Kosovo, and Croatia in Shkodra caused a strong reaction from Serbia, which called the military alliance a provocation and threat to stability in the Balkans.

In Kosovo, the parliament was quickly constituted and the “Kurti 3” government began work, with Prime Minister Albin Kurti focusing on the indictees in The Hague and relations with the European Union, while President Bajram Begaj wished success to the new governing mandate. In The Hague, Kadri Veseli’s defense challenged the Prosecution’s evidence, denying the request for a 45-year prison sentence for the former KLA leaders.
