The opposition protest in Tirana continues, as demonstrators have gathered in front of the Democratic Party headquarters, following tensions previously recorded in the Prime Minister's Office and Parliament area.
The situation remains tense, with a large police presence on the scene. During the clashes, a protester was hit in the head with a tear gas canister. He received assistance from bystanders.
Earlier, police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd, after they threw Molotov cocktails and fireworks at state institutions.
