Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu spoke about the vote of immigrants. He said that he is against voting by mail, because according to him this form of voting can be easily manipulated and disputed by the party that will lose the elections.
Spahiu added that the only way the diaspora can vote is electronic voting, one of the two forms proposed by the head of the Central Electoral Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi.
"I am in favor of Mr. Celibashi's proposal, but I am skeptical about voting by mail. I am skeptical, because postal voting is very controversial, in Kosovo it has raised many debates, although Kosovo is a model of non-manipulation and theft of votes in relation to Albania.
In recent elections where there was a large influx of postal votes they have been very controversial and debatable voting by 100 people. It is a very controversial process. If there will be a vote by mail, all political parties will say that this was a vote that was manipulated 100%. I am in favor of electronic voting, I am against voting only by mail", said Spahiu for "Euronews Albania".
