A large-scale fire has fallen during this afternoon on the village of Koçaj of the administrative unit Fushë Bulqizë, in Livadhet e Karaj.
Media sources report that the fire, aided by the wind, has burned tens of hectares of forests and pastures.
Firefighters are unable to intervene and air intervention is required.
The first suspicions are that we are dealing with deliberate arson, so the police are said to have started investigations.
"Bulqize/preliminary information. In the village of Koçaj, Fushë-Bulqize administrative unit, there was a fire in an area with herbs and bushes.
Police and fire services are at the scene, working to control the flames and extinguish the fire.
The investigative group has started investigations to clarify the causes of the fire, to identify and bring to legal responsibility the author of this case," the police announcement states.
