Fire in the new emergency, QSUT reacts: The situation is under control

"Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center has reacted after the fire that engulfed the new emergency, stressing that the situation has normalized.

According to the QSUT statement, measures were immediately taken for the safety of the patients and no one was injured.

"In the early hours of the morning today, smoke was reported on the -1st floor of the QSUT building.

Immediate measures were taken to secure the inpatients and the situation was brought under control in record time and the cause of the smoke is being investigated.

The situation is under continuous monitoring and the patients are all out of danger, thanks to the commitment of the medical and firefighting personnel.

Everything is under control and the situation appears to be calm" , declared QSUT.
