Political scientist Ervis Iljazaj has called it a shame that the Court is dragging out the case for the DP stamp so much.
Invited to the show "Now" on Euronews Albania, he emphasized that it is the responsibility of the Court of Appeal to make a decision as soon as possible regarding the stamp of the DP. He also emphasized that he hopes that the same scheme as in the last elections will not be repeated.
" For me, today the Supreme Court for DP has given a decision that shows the shortest legal path. The discussion we have about who has the logo today should not concern us who has the logo at the moment. Our interest is when the logo issue will be finally resolved. The Court's decision today has shortened the legal path because it told the Appeal that you will judge it on its merits.
It is the responsibility of the Appeal to make a decision as soon as possible. For me, the DP issue is a body that is dragging so much, or has been dragging so much. I really hope that the decision will not be given before the 2025 elections. The appeal has the responsibility to give a decision as soon as possible ", he said.
