For several days, lists of names of persons sentenced to prison by SPAK and the Special Court, who benefit from release and reduced sentences, have been drawn up, from the criminal amnesty drawn up by the SP and Foltorja in a bargain between them, served as an alleged "conflict for equality criminality and humanity".
Until now, only the number of beneficiaries is being mentioned, but an information source told "Pamphlet" that the Directorate of Prisons and the Ministry of Justice have been ordered to announce only the total number of beneficiaries, without publishing their names.
With the justification, that by not publishing the names, the right to personal confidentiality of the convicts will allegedly be respected; the names of government officials, justice and businessmen and traffickers who will be released from prison and will benefit from a reduced sentence will be kept secret.
Before and after the amnesty vote in the parliament, the government and the political representatives of the SP e Foltores, declared that the officials and businessmen convicted for corruption by SPAK and GJKKO and the district prosecutors' offices, will not benefit from release from prison or even 1 hour reduction of sentence.
While Lulzim Basha and Enkelejd Alibeaj, as lawyers and experts, argued that the amnesty included government officials, justice, businessmen and traffickers connected to political leaders.
Because the release and reduction of the sentence for them was part of the bargain of Edi Rama and Sali Berisha, to dilute the work of the SPAK and the Special Court, paving the way for the precedent, that justice punishes them, while the political power releases them with amnesty.
The truth is that in the legal package of the criminal amnesty, the articles of the Penal Code were included, which condemn the corruption of government and justice officials and persons related to them for illegal benefits.
In order to hide the truth of their bazaar, clientelism and public fraud, Edi Rama and Sali Berisha have ordered not to publish the names of the officials, businessmen and traffickers connected to them, who benefit from the amnesty.
But the law obliges to publish the name, father, surname, job position and activity before the conviction, the criminal offenses, the prosecutions, the courts from which they were convicted, the dates, the terms of the sentences and the measures of benefiting from the amnesty./ Pamphlet
