NATO rejected Edi Rama's sexism to allocate 35 million USD for the purchase of these vehicles for Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo; while Babloku has allocated 15 million USD for the Ministry of Defense, in the confidential "Secret Purchase" fund, but so far only 1 Turkish "Shota" vehicle has been purchased, which is presented as Albanian production...
In January 2024, Prime Minister Edi Rama trumpeted as the "achievement of the century" the production of military vehicles "Shota - Made in Albania" by the company "Timak", with equipment and spare parts trading activities, owned by 38-year-old Arjeta Puca from Dibra who lives in Turkey.
In fact, this is the Turkish company "TIMAC" in partnership with the Erdogan family, which produces spare parts, car upholstery and assembles transport and service vehicles, including ambulances and technological waste collection and cleaning vehicles.
This company, in August 2016, was registered in Albania under the name "Timak Sh.pk", while in May 2020 it also registered its name "Timac Sh.pk", represented by Arjola Puca, who is the mask of Sinan Idrizi of the Bablok charter company.
During Arjeta Puca's presentation, Babloku lied, saying that the "Shota-Made in Albania" vehicle is an armored military vehicle, designed and manufactured 100% in Albania, with NATO approval, because they meet high international safety and defense standards.
Likewise, he said that the car company "Shota" has signed a contract with NATO and several EU countries, while the UN has selected it to produce and purchase 500 ambulances.
These were the plans of Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a 50 million USD bargain with the Turkish company "Timac" in which the Erdogan family has shares, to sell "Shota" cars as allegedly Albanian production.
In fact, the "Shota-Made in Albania" vehicles are Turkish production in mixed-parts cooperation with vehicle manufacturing companies in Turkey, the EU, the USA, Japan and China and are sold through the Albanian company "Timak Sh.pk", while Babloku has promoted them as 100% Albanian-made military vehicles.
In the information that "Pamphlet" has obtained from the Ministry of Finance, it is stated that through the trade of "Shota-Made in Albania" military vehicles, the aim was for NATO chiefs to be convinced by Edi Rama's negotiation and offer and to allocate 35 million USD to purchase these vehicles for Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
But they rejected Edi Rama's real estate transaction; while the value of 15 million USD was planned by the Albanian Government in the 2024-2025 budget for the Ministry of Defense, in the confidential fund "Secret Military Purchases", of which 8 million USD have been transferred to the company "Timak" and 7 million will be given within 2025.
On June 17, 2024, Babloku sent Defense Minister Niko Peleshi to Paris along with Arjola Puca, to promote the "Shota-Made in Albania" car at the "EUROSATORY" fair, where Peleshi repeated Babloku's deception that this car is 100% Albanian production.
In fact, the Ministry of Defense, which has paid 8 million Euros so far, has only received 1 "Shota" vehicle; but the Kosovo Army, out of patriotism, has also received one, presenting it at the 15th anniversary of independence parade.
Babloku has given 30 thousand m2 in Elbasan to the Turkish firm "Timak" for free use for a period of 50 years and without taxes; under the guise of allegedly producing "Shota Albania" cars, it has also removed customs duties for the import of spare parts and cars of all kinds, from which institutions have been ordered to buy./ Pamphlet
