The rise in tensions between the US and Iran has immediately reflected in energy markets, leading to a significant increase in fuel prices in the United States.
According to data published by AAA, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline has reached $4.45.
In the last week alone, the price has increased by 34 cents, while compared to the end of February, the total increase amounts to $1.47 per gallon, which translates to about 49.3%.

Experts attribute this increase to the uncertainties that have gripped global markets following the escalation of the conflict. Fears of supply disruptions and instability in major oil-producing areas have directly impacted prices.
