A serious incident has occurred in Germany, where a person attacked at least five people in Bielefeld.
Three people were seriously injured and hospitalized after a gunman attacked people partying outside a bar in Bielefeld, Germany, police said. He then fled the scene.
German news agency DPA reported that the injured were football fans from a local team. The city's Arminia Bielefeld football club won the match on Saturday and became the 3rd division champion.
Bielefeld police said in a statement that they found several knives at the scene of the attack and that they have activated a witness hotline asking people to upload videos and photos of the attack.
They warned anyone who sees the suspect to keep their distance and call emergency services, as he may be armed and dangerous.
The circumstances of the incident are still unclear, authorities said. Police released a photo of the suspected perpetrator and asked for information from the public.
