He emphasized that Israel is in a war on many fronts, adding that the hostages taken by Hamas remain a challenge for them.
Regarding the latest attack, he emphasized that Iran has been promising for 40 years that it will wipe Israel off the face of the earth, adding, among other things, that Iran can become a nuclear power.
"Israel has been in a war on many fronts for many months, so it is not only facing Hamas and the war in the Gaza Strip, but also attacks from Syria, from Yemen and recently from Iran. It is a tremendous challenge for such a small country and let's not forget the hostage situation taken by terrorists and of course we have to deal with the hostage crisis as well as other terror attacks that try to bring Israel to its knees.
More than 300 aircraft attacked Israel, of which over 200 were kamikaze drones, a very large number of missiles, of which over 100 were ballistic missiles. More than 60 tons of explosives were thrown. For over 40 years, Iran has promised to wipe Israel off the world map, and we take this challenge seriously. We take this very seriously and we know that Iran intends to become a nuclear power. Iran is arming its allies to attack us. We have a multi-layered system of protection," he said.
