Călin Georgescu left the premises of the General Prosecutor's Office after being subjected to a questioning session that lasted 6 hours.
He is being investigated for 6 charges, and will be under judicial control for 60 days.
"Nothing surprises me. I remember the mentality and the communist system of the 1950s. We are the people, we are the power. We will not kneel before anyone. It was expected, because what they prepared for us on December 6 is a great wealth. Honestly, if we were to go on December 8, I would not know what was here," said Georgescu, after leaving the premises of the Prosecutor's Office.
The General Prosecutor's Office announced that charges have been filed against the presidential candidate related to incitement and actions against the constitutional order, statements and dissemination of false information, initiation or creation of an organization with a fascist, racist or xenophobic character, promotion of the cult of persons found guilty of committing crimes against humanity and war crimes, public promotion of fascist, legionary, racist or xenophobic ideas, concepts or doctrines, as well as initiation or establishment of an anti-Semitic organization.
