Major European airports have experienced severe disruptions since Friday night, following a cyberattack that hit Collins Aerospace, a global provider of airline check-in and boarding services.
Airports in Brussels, Berlin and London are experiencing the consequences of a cyberattack.
According to a statement from Brussels Airport, the service provider for check-in and boarding systems was hit by a cyberattack yesterday evening.
A significant disruption to flights is expected and warnings of flight delays and cancellations are expected.
Only manual check-in and boarding were possible at the airport serving the Belgian capital while the service provider tried to resolve the problem.
"Passengers should check their flight status before travelling," said the Brussels Airport service provider.
Germany's Berlin-Brandenburg Airport also announced today that its service provider for passenger handling systems had been hit by a cyberattack yesterday evening.

The airport said it had then cut off connections to its systems, warning that passengers would have to wait longer at check-in and boarding.
"The airport itself was not the target of the cyberattack and was only indirectly affected," Berlin-Brandenburg Airport said.
The system provider is used at airports across Europe and it is believed that other European airports may have been affected, too.
London's Heathrow Airport said in a statement that there could be delays after a third-party provider of check-in and boarding systems responsible for several airlines was experiencing "a technical issue."
