A serious road accident occurred yesterday in Bosnia, resulting in the death of a member of parliament, along with his wife and child.
The news has been confirmed by the Banja Luka Police, while the first details have been made public by the local media "Klix". The fatal accident occurred at around 12:50 on the "9 Janari" highway, in the Doboj-Banja Luka segment, and the victim is MP Srgjan Todorovic.
According to preliminary data, the Volvo driven by Todorovic collided at high speed with a truck trailer that had stopped on the road as a result of a previous accident. All three family members died at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the full circumstances of the incident, while this accident has shocked public opinion in Bosnia and beyond.
