
3 people lost their lives and 53 others were injured in the tragic accident in Greece.
The accident happened this morning at 07:00 local time, on the highway Athens - Evzona, in the municipality of Paionia Kilkis. A double-decker bus with Serbian license plates collided head-on with a vehicle carrying four passengers.
The three passengers of the car died while the fourth was seriously injured. Immediately after the bus collided with the vehicle, another car collided with the vehicle, but the two passengers, a woman and a child, fortunately were not injured.
The Greek media have published photos from the serious accident, where it can be seen that the car suffered extensive damage and was broken into pieces, while the bus with 78 tourists ended up in the canal.


The 53 people who were injured were transported by ambulance to the hospitals of Kilkis and Thessaloniki. The police and the fire department went to the scene with 18 firefighters and 6 vehicles. 12 ambulances and 3 Mobile Medical Units participated in the operation.
