President Joe Biden has reacted after the tragedy with 179 victims in South Korea, after a plane left the runway and crashed into the wall.
Biden has stated that the United States is ready to provide any necessary assistance to South Korea. The US president also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
"As close allies, the American people share deep bonds of friendship with the people of South Korea, and our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this tragedy. The United States is ready to provide any necessary assistance," Biden said.
The serious incident in South Korea has been described as the country's biggest air disaster in decades. Only 2 people managed to survive the tragedy, both crew members, while three people are missing.
The two people who escaped were pulled to the tail of the plane when the explosion occurred.
