Emmanuel Macron has reached a deal with Aleksandar Vučić for arming Serbia. The French President started today a two-day visit to Belgrade, where he was received with honors by his counterpart. Belgrade has limited cooperation with Moscow since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and condemned the break, but unlike EU and other Western countries, it has not imposed sanctions on Moscow.
Serbia's army and air force are dependent on Soviet technology, but Serbia has bought helicopters and transport planes from Airbus, radars from Thales and surface-to-air missiles from France's Mistral.
