The Serbian Minister of Defense, Milosh Vučević, stated that the arming of Serbia does not mean that it is preparing for any war. He underlined that this is done in order for Serbia to be ready to defend itself in case of need. The Serbian minister added that the country needs peace.
" Let me say that we are not preparing for any war and conflict. Serbia wants and needs peace, but we will be ready to defend Serbia. And this should be clear to everyone. The time has passed when Serbia cut off the cannons, tanks and cannons, the time has passed when we closed the barracks and have generations who do not know basic things.
They accuse us of ethnic cleansing and war crimes. Unfortunately, there were also criminals among the Serbs and they must be held accountable. But the truth is that only our compatriots have been expelled from ethnic villages. And that only our borders are vulnerable, while all other borders are inviolable. And that everyone else has the right to defend themselves and defend themselves, only the Serbs or our army do not ," said Vucevic.
The Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, Nikola Selakovic, emphasized that "We cannot be held responsible for all the mistakes of others in the past, nor can we change the past. But we can do something good today.
