Shkruar nga PamfletiThe President of the USA, Joe Biden, received today the General Secretary of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, with whom he discussed the recent situation in Ukraine.
Biden and Stoltenberg said that Ukraine's counteroffensive is strengthening its position and restoring the possibility of a diplomatic solution to the conflict with Russia.
"The support for Ukraine that we are providing together is now making a difference on the battlefield as we speak. Because the offensive has started and the Ukrainians are making progress. It is still early, but what we know is that the more territories the Ukrainians can liberate, the stronger they will be at the negotiating table," said the NATO secretary.
President Biden praised the commitment of NATO during these months of the war in Ukraine and expressed the belief that the alliance will further the cooperation at the annual meeting that will be held in Lithuania on July 11.
