US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called on Israel to help, not hinder, the Palestinian Authority, stressing that Israel's long-term security is at stake.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Blinken repeated his call for "a path to a Palestinian state," despite Washington's support for the Israeli campaign in Gaza that Israel launched in response to the October 7 attack by Hamas - the group Palestinian declared a terrorist organization by the United States and the European Union.
