Blockade of the Assembly, Vokshi: The resistance of the opposition has just

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Albana Vokshi, has stated that the blockade of the Assembly by the opposition will continue, until its rights are respected in this institution.

In an interview with ABC News, Vokshi said the blockade is happening because the opposition in parliament is being denied all constitutional rights. She warned that in the coming days, there will also be forms of civil disobedience.

" This is just the beginning, that's for sure. This is a resistance, it is a posturing on the part of the opposition MPs, warned in fact, even by the last meetings of the DP Parliamentary Group and the opposition MPs, this is because the opposition MPs, the opposition in parliament, are being denied all constitutional rights, all the spaces provided by the regulation and the Constitution of the Parliament are being closed. This is certainly done by order from above, by order of Edi Rama who does not love the parliament, does not consider the parliament and does not respect the Parliament as such, as a power separated from the executive or other powers.

He does not respect Article 7 of the Constitution, which provides for check and balance, i.e. the powers that check and balance each other, and for this reason he himself has ignored it, he himself has broken it, he himself has given the model to respect the Parliament and to close all the space of the opposition in the Parliament by giving his model, even to the ministers, who ignore every demand of the opposition. If you take away from the opposition the instruments that the Constitution has provided, if you take away from the opposition the instruments that the rules of the Assembly have provided, then you are annihilating the opposition in the Parliament, and this Parliament is no longer pluralistic.

It is an attempt against pluralism, against parliamentarism and against democracy. We cannot accept it, we are not a facade opposition. It is a resistance that has just begun and will continue until that moment, until the Speaker of the Assembly, the majority and the Prime Minister implement the Constitution, the law, the regulation of the Assembly to respect the rights of the opposition in the Parliament. You will see in the following days other forms of civil disobedience, other forms of protest, of resistance. Yesterday, did you block the session? There are many forms of disobedience ", she emphasized
