Donald Trump: The "macho" leader who bows only to "Tsar"

Russian asset or not, stupid or not, it doesn't matter, Trump does whatever Putin wants...

Perhaps the willing and courageous American citizens who marched in the streets of the United States against the authoritarian turn that Donald Trump has brought to their country should add "No Tsar" to the slogan "No Kings," following further evidence, revealed yesterday by the Financial Times, of Trump's complete and total submission to the will of Vladimir Putin.

Despite Trump appearing to tire of his Kremlin friend's taunts in recent weeks, and despite his repeated threats of retaliation after the failure of previous peace advances, Trump again backed Vladimir Putin's demands and propaganda, demanding during a heated meeting at the White House that Volodymyr Zelensky cede all of Donbas to Putin, including that part of eastern Ukraine that Moscow has failed to conquer in three and a half years of war, in exchange for giving up two regions that Ukrainians have never relinquished.

In short, Trump's plan is to force Ukraine to surrender and give Putin a victory that doesn't actually exist on the ground, despite the Americans doing everything they can to facilitate it.

If Ukraine does not accept, Trump reportedly told Zelensky, Russia will destroy the country, as if it were not already doing so every day, especially since Trump won the election, without achieving anything. The Putin-Trump peace, in short, is the subjugation of several million Ukrainians who have fought and resisted brutal Russian aggression for three years.

Trump went so far as to tell Zelensky that Russia is not even waging war against Ukraine, but is simply conducting a "special operation," as if to say that Putin has so far been fighting silently, benevolently, a lie belied by the facts and Ukrainian and Russian deaths that even Kremlin propagandists no longer repeat on TV shows, but which has now become White House policy, despite the fact that soon, in January, Russia's special operation in Ukraine will last longer than the Great Patriotic War (World War II) on which the myth of the Soviet Union was founded during the Cold War years.

The question is always the same: why is Trump always so nervous when it comes to Vladimir Putin? There is no irrefutable evidence that Trump is a Russian asset, or that he is being blackmailed by the Kremlin; there are only suspicions based on sufficient evidence of collusion with Russian oligarchs and criminal connections between Trump's entourage and the Russians during his first, surprise, election in 2016.

But if there is no certainty that Putin is manipulating Trump like a puppet, the other alternative is that Trump is a complete idiot, which is certainly plausible and which in any case does not rule out the possibility that the Kremlin is pulling the strings of the first anti-American president of the United States.

Russian asset or not, stupid or not, it matters little, Trump does whatever Putin wants, thereby humiliating a people who resist Russian barbarism, denying missile systems that protect civilians, blocking or delaying intelligence information needed to save lives, gaining control of Ukraine's mineral resources, dividing European allies, weakening NATO, which was founded precisely to protect Europe and contain Russian imperialism, and facilitating the alliance of autocracies against the free world.

Marching through the streets of America to say "No to kings" is an act of civic resistance, preventing Russia's advance in Ukraine is a morally necessary commitment, but we must be aware that, while Americans defend democracy and Ukrainians fight for their independence, Tsar Vladimir has occupied the White House. / Adapted from "Pamphlet" by "Linkiesta"
