"Patience is not unlimited"/ Saudi Arabia warns of launching attacks
Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud warns Iran

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, warned Iran that tolerance for attacks against the kingdom and other Gulf countries is limited, calling on Tehran to "immediately reconsider" its strategy.

In a press conference held on Thursday, he stressed that Saudi Arabia and its allies in the region possess "very significant capacities and capabilities" that could be used if they decide to act.

According to him, the precision of the attacks on targets in Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries shows that they are "premeditated, carefully planned and organized," despite denials by Iranian diplomacy.

The Saudi minister avoided specifying which actions would lead to a military response, but stressed that "patience is not unlimited."

"It is important for Iran to understand that the kingdom and its partners have significant capabilities that they can use if they deem it necessary," he declared, adding that he would not publicly signal the timing or conditions of a response.

His remarks followed a meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers in Riyadh to discuss the escalation of conflict in the region. A day earlier, Iran struck energy facilities in the Persian Gulf, including the Ras Laffan gas plant in Qatar and a facility in Habshan in the United Arab Emirates.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the attack on the industrial city of Ras Laffan, one of the world's largest centers for the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG), which accounts for about 20 percent of global supply.

Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had earlier warned that oil and gas facilities in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the Emirates would be subject to retaliation following an Israeli attack on the South Pars gas field in Iran.

Saudi authorities announced that air defenses intercepted four Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at Riyadh and two others aimed at the eastern region. The United Arab Emirates reported that they neutralized 13 ballistic missiles and 27 drones, while activity at the Habshan gas plant was temporarily suspended after incidents with missile debris.

Prince Faisal also stated that, although the war will end one day, restoring trust with Iran will take a long time, as, according to him, trust has been "completely destroyed."

He added that Iran's strategy to strike its neighbors has been built for years and is not a spur-of-the-moment reaction to current developments.

"If Iran does not stop immediately, it will be very difficult to rebuild trust in the future," the Saudi minister concluded.
