A serious incident has been recorded in Rome, where it is reported that a woman was stabbed to death at the entrance of a palace in the Trionfale area.
The victim was named Rossella Nappini, a 52-year-old nurse who was found with several stab wounds to her abdomen. At the police station, agents interviewed several men to reconstruct the possible dynamics of what happened and shed light on the case.
Among them is the ex-partner of the victim.
The first to raise the alarm were her neighbors and some boys when they saw his body lying on the ground at the entrance with several wounds in the abdomen, caused by a knife. However, many claim to have heard screams in the previous minutes as well.
An autopsy has been ordered, which will also determine the number of stab wounds that killed the woman. Perhaps her assailant had asked for a last meeting to clarify by setting a trap for her, or perhaps he waited outside the house for her to return from work.
According to Italian media, Rossella, separated, lived with her two daughters together with her elderly mother of about 80 years in the apartment of the palace in via Giuseppe Allievo.
