Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has taken a tough stance on Israel, compared the attacks in Gaza to the brutality of Srebrenica 29 years ago.
"Today, the Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied territories are exposed to brutality similar to that of Srebrenica 29 years ago ," Erdogan said.
He further emphasized that international institutions and organizations are doing nothing but witnessing the killing of 40,000 innocent people.
" International institutions and organizations are simply witnessing the killing of about 40,000 innocent people, including 16,000 children, like 29 years ago. As with Srebrenica, those responsible for the barbarity in Gaza will sooner or later be tried before international law ," the Turkish leader added.
