
More than 11,000 flights have been canceled at major airports in the Middle East since February 28 as the conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran escalates, leaving hundreds of thousands of travelers stranded in the region.
According to data published by flight monitoring platform Flightradar24, cancellations have affected airports in 10 countries, while many airspaces have been closed for security reasons. The graph shows that the number of canceled flights has increased significantly since the start of the conflict.

The data shows:
February 26: around 150 flights cancelled
February 27: around 180 flights cancelled
February 28: around 1,600 flights cancelled
March 1: around 2,600 flights cancelled
March 2: around 2,600 flights cancelled
March 3: around 2,800 flights cancelled
March 4: around 2,300 flights cancelled
In total, more than 11,000 flights have been canceled during this period, while airlines and airports in the region continue to face major disruptions in operations.
