
An Iranian missile hit an oil refinery in Bahrain, according to an official statement from the country's government, while footage of the moment of the attack has also been published in the media.
Bahraini authorities said there were no injuries in the attack and the refinery is still operating. However, a fire broke out in one of the refinery units shortly after the strike.
“A fire broke out at one of the BAPCO Energies refinery units following an Iranian missile attack,” the government said in a statement. Authorities said the fire was under control and an assessment of the damage was being carried out.

Meanwhile, geo-verified video footage from CNN appears to show the moment the missile hits the industrial facility and the flames that erupted immediately after the explosion at the refinery.
At the same time, another incident was reported in the region. A drone strike hit an oil field in Dohuk, in the autonomous Kurdistan region of Iraq, which is operated by a US company. According to security sources, the strike caused a fire in the facility, while emergency teams intervened to bring the situation under control.
These developments come at a time when the conflict between Iran, Israel and the United States is spreading to several Middle Eastern countries, also affecting the region's energy infrastructure and raising concerns about the stability of global oil markets.
