The death toll from the latest military escalation between Iran, Israel and US forces in the region continues to mount, as attacks and counterattacks spread to several Middle Eastern countries.
The United Arab Emirates' Defense Ministry announced that three people have been killed in Iranian attacks, while air defense systems have shot down nearly 700 missiles and drones since Tehran launched its retaliatory wave. According to the official statement, the victims are citizens of Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
Authorities in Abu Dhabi say air defenses have intercepted or destroyed 152 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles and 506 drones. Despite the high level of intervention, shell debris has fallen in various areas of the country, causing light and moderate material damage to civilian property. The Emirates remains on full alert in the face of the risk of further attacks.
In Israel, authorities confirm that the death toll from an Iranian strike on the city of Beit Shemesh has risen to nine. The ambulance service initially reported six fatalities, then updated the figure to eight and then nine. At least 40 others were injured in the attack, while air raid sirens sounded several times in different parts of the country.

As for the situation inside Iran, Iranian authorities have provided few detailed figures on casualties from the US-Israeli attacks. However, Iranian state media earlier reported that a rocket strike on a girls' school in the southern city of Minab killed nearly 150 people, including more than 100 children. Iran's ambassador to the UN also said that hundreds of civilians had been killed or injured in several cities, accusing the US and Israel of targeting residential areas.
The overall toll remains unclear due to the situation on the ground and the lack of independent verification, but preliminary data indicate dozens of casualties in Israel and the Gulf states, as well as a much higher number reported by Iranian authorities within their territory. The conflict is entering a phase with severe humanitarian consequences and a high risk of further regional spread.
