Everything seems to be ready for the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral. Currently, Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky have arrived in Paris.

Arriving today at the Elysee, Donald Trump praised the "excellent relationship" with Emmanuel Macron. While the French president, for his part, said it was "a great honor" to host the American president-elect at the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame.

Before being "secluded" in the halls of the Elysee for a private conversation, Trump and Macron exchanged a few jokes in front of reporters.

The French president recalled that Trump "was president" in 2019, "when the flames broke out in the cathedral".

"I remember his solidarity and his immediate reaction," Macron said of Trump.

For his part, Trump recalled the "good moments" and "success" of Franco-American relations during his first term in the White House.
