The Serbian foreign minister, Ivica Dacic, commenting on the actions of the Kosovo government, has stated that Kurti will have a million ideas to prove that he has something that he actually does not have, which is citizenship.
He commented on the recent actions in Zveçan with the removal of billboards, where he said in an implied form that "even on the ballots they wrote the Republic of Kosovo to prove that they have a state".
"Kurti will have a million ideas to highlight something he doesn't have, which is citizenship. His idea is to move to new escalations. They also wrote Republic of Kosovo on the ballots to prove that they have a state. The problem is that the international community tolerates this and says they cannot pressure Kurt. Well, they can't do anything", said Daçiçi in an interview on TV Pink.
Dacic has also claimed that the situation regarding Kosovo is murky, and that they should have a state policy that will be based on preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
"We need a wise policy that will be based on the fact that we will not recognize Kosovo's independence and will not "allow" its membership in the UN, and on the other hand have a wise policy to achieved all this without harming national interests and I think that this is the policy that will be led by our next government", said Dacic.
