French police raided the Arab World Institute in Paris on Monday as part of an investigation into the organization's former director, Jacques Lange, and his links to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Prosecutors have opened a preliminary investigation into suspected tax fraud against Lang, France's former culture minister, and his daughter, after the United States Department of Justice released documents related to the case.
The Arab World Institute said it was not immediately able to comment on the investigation.
Lang headed the Paris-based cultural center, which promotes Arab culture and civilization, before resigning from the position.
