The Lebanese group Hezbollah announced that it had launched a barrage of rockets at an Israeli military base in northern Israel.
In a statement, the organization said its fighters targeted the Ein Zeitim base, near the city of Safed, at around 1:15 p.m. local time (11:15 GMT). According to Hezbollah, the attack was in response to Israeli strikes on several cities and towns in Lebanon, including the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In a separate development, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it has struck a US base in Juffair, Bahrain, using solid and liquid-fueled missiles.
According to the IRGC statement, the attack was a response to a US strike on a water desalination plant on Qeshm Island in Iran.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the US attack had cut off water supplies to about 30 villages.
Meanwhile, Bahrain's Interior Ministry announced via platform X that air raid sirens have been activated, urging residents to remain calm and seek shelter.
