Elon Musk's father has recently expressed fears that his billionaire son could be killed. Errol Musk's concern comes after a report about his son's influence on government decisions.
77-year-old Errol Musk slammed a recent article in The New Yorker that explored the influence of the world's richest man on government decisions about the war in Ukraine. Pentagon officials told The New Yorker that Elon Musk was treated as an 'unelected official' and raised concerns about his attitude toward Vladimir Putin.
"This is a successful job, a blatant government-sponsored attack on Elon," the 77-year-old said.
The report also highlighted how crucial SpaceX's Starlink satellites had been in the war in Ukraine. The reporter from 'The US Sun' asked him if he was afraid his son might be killed, he replied: 'Yes.'
Errol Musk also described the New Yorker article to The US Sun as "softening the enemy like artillery before the actual attack." Musk appears to have a strained relationship with his father and has previously called him a "terrible human being".
