A horror event was recorded in Italy, where a man killed his wife and strangled two children with chains, while a third managed to survive.
54-year-old Giovanni Barreca killed his wife Antonella Salamone and their two children Emanuel and Kevin, aged 5 and 16. Another 17-year-old girl managed to escape.
After the crime, the man called the police and appeared in Casteldaccia where he was arrested.
The murder happened around 03:00. The woman is said to have been cremated and buried, but her body has not yet been found.
While the children are strangled with chains. Police forces have gone to the scene and are reconstructing what happened.
The third 17-year-old girl, who managed to save herself, witnessed the events and was rescued by emergency personnel.
According to her account, the father woke up during the night making noises that he perceived a demonic presence in the house.
The girl, the only survivor, got out of bed confused and saw the corpses of her brothers.
Children Kevin and Emanuel, aged 16 and 5 respectively, were strangled by their father, who first killed the youngest and then strangled the eldest with a chain.
The chain was found next to Kevin's body and is also suspected to have been used to strangle Emanuel.
The woman's body was not found: one hypothesis is that Barreca cut her into pieces and burned her before calling 112.
