Iran declares EU Air Force and Navy as Terrorist Organizations.
In a statement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Tehran said it was designating the "naval and air forces" of European Union member states as terrorist organizations. The decision comes after the European Council included the Revolutionary Guard Corps on its list of terrorist organizations, following an agreement by the Foreign Affairs Council on January 29.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry states that "this is Tehran's response, which considers the decision taken last Thursday by the European Council to include the Revolutionary Guard on the list of terrorist organizations as "illegal and unjustified."
