Israel is continuing military operations in the region, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that the campaign against Iran is not over, despite recent diplomatic developments.
In a meeting with local leaders from the north of the country, Netanyahu stressed that military efforts are closely linked to the objective of weakening Hezbollah, which he considers part of the broader Iranian threat.
According to him, Israel has taken concrete steps to strengthen security on the northern border, expanding its military presence in southern Lebanon and creating a buffer zone.
"We have created a real security zone that prevents any ground intervention in the Galilee and on our northern border," he declared, describing this as a key measure for the protection of Israeli territory.
Netanyahu added that a significant portion of Hezbollah's capabilities have been hit, while the threat of ground penetration has been neutralized. However, he acknowledged that the operations are not over and will continue until the full objectives are achieved.
His statements come at a time when international diplomatic efforts are aimed at reducing tensions in the region, while the situation on the ground remains fragile and unstable.
