US President Donald Trump reiterated the message to Tehran from the Oval Office, referring to the United States' military movements in the region.
As he said, "a large army" is currently heading towards Iran, stating that this is an even larger force than the one deployed in Venezuela.
The US president left open the possibility of a diplomatic solution, noting that an agreement would be a positive development.
But, at the same time, he warned that if this does not happen "we will see what happens", without providing further clarification on Washington's next steps.
When asked if he had given Iran a deadline, he replied: "only they know."
His latest comments come after weeks of pressure on Iran to negotiate a deal on its nuclear program. Earlier this week, Trump warned that if it fails to reach a nuclear deal, it will face a worse attack than the one in June 2025, when nuclear facilities were hit.
The president confirmed that the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln has arrived in the Middle East and is now ready for attacks.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that his country remains ready to return to negotiations with the US and insists that diplomacy is the only way to resolve tensions.
While the EU stated that the parties should give diplomacy a chance in response to the possibility of the US attacking Iran in the coming hours.
The situation in Iran has been tragic for weeks. The death toll from clashes between civilians and Iranian security forces, according to the Human Rights Activists News Agency, has risen to 6,221 in the protests.
